Ladies and Gentlemen, meet Alfred. A simple hanging skeleton that I sit up near me when I’m loafing around the house. I plan on taking him places too.

This is pretty much just, pure awesome. A jack-in-the-box that’s actually a mutilated evil doll? Hell yes please. Instead of the usual “Pop goes the Weasel” it plays a little girl’s voice saying “Peak-a-Boo. I see you” then it pops out, lights up and laughs saying “Did that scare you?” Ok so it’s kind of cheesy but if it scares the shit out of my aunt, it’s all good.

I found this skull at Walgreen’s and had to take him home. His name is Rodriguez.

A Skeleton “garland” I snagged at Dollar General. It’s too cute. But I really wish they had more on them, or at least put them closer together. Their arms don’t move but they’re very limber below the waist.

Holy cow! I didn’t realize the store had other tombstones! I snagged these two to complete the set. My favorite is the pirate one!

Check this guy out. A hanging decoration I scoped out at Dollar General. Frankenstein Monster was his buddy but I’ve never had a fascination with the green monster. So I brought this guy home and hung him from the coat hanger I have on my door. Behind him in a bunch of green Mardi Gras beads.

Having four pet rats of my own I couldn’t resist buying those black rats with red eye decorations that you see every year. Later I realized that they actually squeak when you squeeze them! Bonus! Putting them in the rat cage I came to realize that they are actually around the same size as my actual rats. My hairless seemed to be the most curious. I’m hoping to find bigger and badder rat decor this year.

This guy is my favorite so far. He’s one of those mini hanging skeletons with rags. So I appropriately hung him from the ceiling fan on the light string, right next to my dangling jellyfish on the fan string. I love these guys. Skeletons have always been something that could have potential to really creep me out. The larger ones of these actually give me the chills, but I will get one soon regardless.

These are pretty much the coolest sunglasses I have ever found. It’s a shame they’re only for costume use and not real eye protection. Found at Wal Mart, where for some reason the Halloween section was really really scarce. They might not be worth the five dollars but I’m sure I can put them to use. Besides, look how snazzy they are!

This bone necklace was bought from a local Walgreen’s. I particularly liked it for the grimey aged look and the details you can feel on the bones. Doesn’t really matter if it’s a uniform bone, it’s a pretty nifty necklace.
